The Thriller dance has found its way to the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. So has the Ghostbusters theme. My life is now complete. Seriously... (Well, seriously that the Thriller dance was in the Tattoo... not so much on the completing my life part...) I think it was the Swiss gymnastics team that did Thriller? Well, some sort of gymnastics team anyways. But the Tattoo was SO GOOD this year!!! Probably my favourite one yet! And not just because of Thriller... although that did help... I love the bagpipes and the guns and the dancers and the marching bands. It's definitely one of my favourite shows to go see.
I'm not in Florida anymore. :( I started my job at the Registrar's Office on Monday. It's not so bad... Not super thrilling, but how much can you really expect from an office job? This week, I spent my time following Marianna around everywhere she went. I felt like a lost puppy. haha I did do something all by myself for the last hour of today, but yeah... other than that, I just watched. I found it a bit exhausting, just because it was mostly her doing stuff and me watching and learning.. but it should get better once they get me doing stuff by myself.
Ahh Florida. :) It's soo nice here! I haven't really been doing a good job e-mailing this year, so I thought I'd write a little blog post with some highlights:
Well, a lot has happened since the last time I wrote! I got engaged, I'm getting married August 23, I bought a wedding dress, I got some new ink... Wow! It's been insane! But very exciting. I can't wait to be married. I think it's going to be great. My married friends keep telling me that it is, and I believe them.
Tried the yogurt. I like it... It's a bit hard to get used to, but I think it will grow on me. I bought 12 snack-sized ones. I WILL EAT THEM BEFORE THEY EXPIRE! That's my goal!
I went to get some groceries after class today. I spent $80, but I'm still not sure exactly how it came to that much... I didn't buy too much of use, mainly because at this point, eating makes me want to hurl. I did, however, purchase one (yes, one) very small snack size strawberry yogurt. I have issues with yogurt. Namely, I hate it. I'm going to try to change that. I can make myself like yogurt, right? I mean... it's a very good snack - healthy, fat free, semi-filling... I am determined to start LOVING yogurt. Well, at least tolerating it... I'll let you know how the first one goes.
