January

I hate January. Most people like it because you get a fresh start. It's a whole new year full of opportunities that you haven't screwed up yet. Me? Not so much... I don't really much feel like I even have a chance at a fresh start if I wanted one. I've already blown most of my resolutions, which were pretty easy ones to begin with anyways. Having strep throat to start off the year probably didn't help... Anyways, I just hate change. I don't like the new semester, I don't like going back to school after a vacation. I don't like the restrictions that school places on my life. I don't like making time for reading and homework, yet when I'm not on top of things, I'm miserable. There's too much going on in my life. I need to downsize, but honestly... what can go? I can't quit my job, I can't quit school, I choose not to break up with my boyfriend or lose my friends because that's the only thing that keeps me sane, I'm not going to stop going to church. What does that leave? I guess my life is just going to be chalk full, and I'm just going to have to deal with it. I just want a day off... and a hot shower...

January sucks, I agree! We clearly need to remedy this through inordinate amounts of chemically modified cheese-smothered popcorn. Smartfood makes everything better. And hugs. *virtual hug* Dear One loves you!
