ouch! that's just mean. did you know that now if you live past 80, alzheimer's and other dementias are expected? isn't that sad?
That is sad. It's actually not that mean... He was talking about how almost all families of people with Alzheimers use humour to cope with the disease. He was just giving us an example. :)
I think it's funny, you can keep a sense of humour about things like that without being offensive if it is said the right way.
