Narnia

Today, I found my little piece of Narnia. I spent a simply devine afternoon with Luke at his place. It was glorious. The whole place is just beautiful. It's breath-taking. He is the groundskeeper for a potter out in Purcell's Cove, and she has a huge property that she rents out to people. He lives in the downstairs of one of the houses on the property. His house is right on the water, and there's a little wharf-like boardwalk that goes along the water to the dock. As soon as you step outside, you can smell the ocean and hear it lapping up against the rocks. There's little benches and seating areas by the water, and a beautiful lawn with trees behind it. The houses on the property are all connected by bridges and little stone pathways. It's absolutely incredible. I'm in love with it. We went for a bit of a hike to York Redoubt with Raindo (the potter's dog), and on the way there, we found a house modelled after a lighthouse. I want to live there, I think - or at least see the inside. It was amazing... what a lovely day!
