The Sweet Retreat

Today, Peter and I met his parents for brunch at Cora's before going to visit Dale in the hospital for his birthday. Brunch was really good. I looooooove Cora's, and I really like his parents too. :) (And I think [hope!] they like me too! lol). After we ate, we went to Parklane to get a card and a balloon for Dale, and we got the balloon at The Sweet Retreat. This candy shop was formerly known as The Sweet Factory, I believe, and it used to be located in MicMac Mall. I think it is the same one because it had the same blue and silver robot holding the bins of candy. It brought back a lot of memories, namely LEGO CANDY! Who remembers that from HCA?? When we got it as prizes for... something... I can't remember what, but I remember getting it and always wanting the yellow pieces cos they tasted like banana medicine. hahaha They had some cuuute teddy bears there too... not that I need any more of those. lol I think my favourite was the giant tiger... and I think that was at Carlton, not the candy store. Hmm... Well, he was cute. I like tigers. I also like dolphins, and I really, really, really, really want to go swimming with one (or more) someday!

Morgan, sometimes we block out violent, traumatic, or painful memories.
