Winter Conference
Winter Conference was AMAZING! I loved it. It was great. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Here are some of my highlights and a few pictures:
1. Sundar Krishnan's message. REALLY GOOD!
2. Skating on Nathan Phillip's Square to the tunes of Keisha Chante.
3. NYE Party. Dressing up in Indian clothes, bringing in the new year with prayer and singing, and the impromptu worship session to drown out the fire alarm (aka the air raid sirens).
4. Bathrobes and pizza very late at night.
5. Walking down the hall to the pop machine in the bathrobes very late at night.
6. "Questioning Evangelism" by Chris Harman.
7. Attacking Jessie with Petrie on a nightly basis.
8. Getting even more excited for SCOTLAND!!!

Tonight was a fun night, too. Pete and I went to see Happy Feet. lol It was really cute! I want a pet dancing penguin... or at least a stuffed penguin that I can make dance. heehee Afterwards, we did one of my favourite things ever, being wandering through Chapters. There are so many books I'd like to read... I had a good day. :)

I was skimming a review of Happy Feet in the Dal newspaper, and I have a question for you...were there gay jokes in the movie?
And you guys didn't believe me about the bathrobes...good thing I called the front desk to get them :)!
There were a few times I was like, "I wonder if that's a gay joke..." but they weren't really obvious... I thought the movie was great!
