Today's Roller Coaster Ride
Today started off with a trip to court for my law paper, which is on my experience at a trial. I ended up in a sentencing hearing for a sex offender. It was really awkward, and I felt like I was intruding on the victim's personal life. I wanted to leave, but I couldn't until it was over.
Then, I went to Erin's for lunch, which was good, and on to Finance where I got my midterm back. I did do good on it. Really good. Really, really good. Oh yeah.
However, shortly after that, I discovered that the belly dance hip scarf I was going to buy for $20 was not $20 - it was $60. Wrong info in the e-mail. I didn't buy it. I'm very disappointed.
But! In marketing, we had a guest speaker in named Bill Carr who is the funniest person I have ever heard in my life! No joke! He is HILARIOUS! Ahh... I can't even begin to describe how funny he is! Let's just say that the entire class was in stitches for like the whole hour and a half, and I left with a huge cramp in my side from laughing so hard!
So, I guess today ended on a good note, and I would say it was good overall, but it definitely had it's lower points, too. That trial is really... bothering me... :S
